3rd of January 2009 is pretty much a good time to be at Giant Robot NY, because you’d probably get to meet good old Mr. David Choe.  You’ll also get to witness the launching of Cho Gal, already deemed to be a collectors item and something that many believe will be sold out by the time you get there, so get there very early if you want one! This is a very special edition of Giant Robot 57 too, because it’s gonna be signed by Dave and has tons of his artwork inside.

Buff Diss reminds me of why I really love and value  street art. It’s an ever evolving creative output by minds of individuals that may or may not effect the people that come across it. It’s there on the wall asking you what do you think of it, whether you realize it or not. It’s a breath of fresh air from all the other advertising crap that makes you feel inferior and tells you their product will make you feel better. It’s raw and yet so powerful. It’s a piece of art that has been given to you, the public to do whatever the fuck you want to with it.

I just wanted to bump this up again as a reminded that the show is still going on, so take off your Santa hats and get over to the Think Space Gallery and check it out peeps.  You can check out the pieces online, here.
