Above: Huge Site UpdateA palindrome by Above. Read this backwards…
One of my utmost favorite street artist is at it again, this time with a huge site update that will keep you entertained for hours on end. Update includes great videos, previously unseen work, stuff from the past and beautiful words by the man himself to really make each picture come to life. My personal favorite? The palindrome Above. See what I did there?
FAIL Stickers: Go Get SomeTime for you guys to start calling out real life fail situations, mates. I forsee a lot of mayhem in the streets. Make your own fail photo’s people, DO IT!
Shepard Fairey: Earth Hour PosterStill on Earth Hour, Shepard Fairey has contributed to the WWF Earth Hour cause by designing a special poster for it. You can download it by clicking on the picture.
Earth Hour MalaysiaEarth Hour is the worlds biggest climate change initiative. On March 28th 2009, at precisely 8:30pm, people around the world will turn off their lights for precisely 1 hour: The Earth Hour. About 1000 cities and a targeted 1 billion people are taking part, and if you don’t already know about it, then it’s time you did. This is a worldly effort to fight global warming, so mark your calendars.
I’ve been lucky enough to be selected to design a desktop wallpaper or two for Earth Hour Malaysia, which you can download here, or just by clicking on the image above. Please show your support by downloading the wallpaper and using it, at least until the date of action. And more importantly, please share this information with anyone and everyone. Thank you.
Zevs: GoogleI freaking am inspired with this one. It’s one of those, why the hell did’nt I think of it situations. What do you get when you merge the most powerful and knowledgable search engine and a brilliant street artist? Sheer Fuckin’ Brilliance. This is already the best fuckin’ inspired website design of 2009.

Street artist Above hits the streets again, this time just in time for the dreaded Valentines Day. His stencils should remind everyone about what this day really means, and not all the commercialized bullshit that surrounds it. Happy Valentines Day to all.
Mini Mini by Spraygraphic.comSomething that’s pretty interesting that’s going on over at Spraygraphic.com. They are curating their first show over at Arizona State University’s Graphic Design Conference, and are still accepting submissions, so if you are an artist, please feel free to submit stuff. I’m considering sending something myself. Details inside.
Suit Up: Playing Card ExhibitionThis one caught my eye. It’s an interesting take on playing cards, and the line up is just phenomenal. 19 different australian artists from Street Art, Illustration and Comic scene come together and decorate some decks.
Exhibition opens Friday 13th at ‘No Vacancy’ Gallery in Melbourne. And…yes, the decks of cards will be for sale at the opening…

While You SleepCatrabbit and Ghostpatrol collaboration exhibit down at Gorker Gallery. What’s the buzz anyway? Well, they have been working for the past four years to produce some of the nicest looking plush toys that I’ve seen in a bit. It’s basically Ghostpatrol’s artwork turned into soft sculptures, so it’s definitely worth the look. Drop by Gorker’s website for further information.
