I’ve been wanting to learn how to paint for such a long time, and was wondering about the entire process that certain artists would go through. I remember coaxing Michael Latimer sometime ago into perhaps conjuring up some kind of tutorial for us newbies, and fast forward a couple of months later and he’s actually done it! And even better, it’s not just a patched up job, but a rather detailed, precise and very informative tutorial. I had huge fun reading through it and can’t wait to try it out on my own, as soon as I get my own Steadtler Mars Technico Clutch pencils.
Yep, another great artist covered, and also a tee shirt review is coming up. Add a special interview and a couple of giveaway prizes [vinyl toys, custom tees, 2 rare limited edition artist books & stickers] to that and I would say that it’s going to be quite a busy next couple of weeks over here at F’kn Mayhem! Stay tuned, and get your RSS feeds ready!
Ahh, my fellow Malaysian showing off some artistic skills and effective/ quick thinking when it came to a lack of ladders. Btw, Tebabo is the sound your car makes when it crashes, falls off a cliff, rolls over a bunch of rocks, lands on it’s back, and just before you get out it explodes. Tebabo!
The who’s who of street and sticker art can be found here. Awesome stuff. Trust me, you’d wanna look at this one supersized, so click on the image above. Courtesy of Billy Kid’s Flick’r.
I remember making a zebra tee once, and it came out pretty awesome, but it would get it’s ass kicked compared to this. It’s such a sweet print, and pretty much limited too, so if you have about $40, go get it. Oh my, that texture is just way past awesome.
First up, sorry for my long hiatus from the scene. A combination of work and a shift in mindset played a strong part in it, but I’m back now. And this colab had played a big part in it. I felt lost in the swarms of gallery invitations and the amount of events flying in from everywhere: left right and center. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it became too much of a norm, and my site was turning into one big gallery event post board, and less and less about street art and design. I’m making things right today, and what better way to do it than with this stunning piece of work from Sam 3, San and Liqen. Things were getting a little murky and dark, so thanks for pointing me back in the right direction guys. Seriously breath taking work.
Early this month, Spraygraphics.com held their first Mini Mini Art Show at Cartel Coffee Lab in Tempe, Arizona. They had asked artists to work within a 4inch by 4inch format. Totaling 588 pieces of art from all over including UNITED KINGDOM, SPAIN, FRANCE, GREECE, MACEDONIA, RUSSIA, SLOVENIA, FINLAND, BRAZIL, CANADA, SCOTLAND, HUNGARY, AND MORE…50% of the art were from international artists.
Yep, that’s right. Fresh new limited AND special edition prints are ready in Above’s shop section. And like all things that are good and tasty, it might just run out soon. VERY SOON!

To those who don’t know, Tony’s the master printer at Modern Multiples Studio in LA, who’s done work for the likes of Ron English, Shepard Fairey, Revok and so forth. And now in his spare time, he’s come up with this very rare collection of artwork that is self produced. You can only get it here.
